In short

MeloMax needs no account and collects nothing that identifies you.

What stays on your phone

Favourites, playlists, recently played, search history, downloaded songs and settings are stored only on your phone. They are not sent to our server.

Anonymous statistics

For the MeloMax Top 100 and the "liked by listeners" list we count how often a song is played and liked. These numbers are not linked to any user. The IP address is kept in memory for a short time only so that a song is counted once a day, and it is never written to the database. App opens, plays and downloads are kept as totals.

Error reports

When a song cannot be opened, the app sends a technical report (error text, song, app version). It stays in the server log with the IP address for a short time and is used only to fix errors.

Contact form

The name, email and message you send with the contact form are kept to answer you and are not shared with anyone.

Ads and tracking

The app and the website contain no ad networks and no third-party tracking code.

If this policy changes, the new text will be published on this page.
